“Causeway” 12″ X 40″ Oil/Linen

Just finished this and am very pleased!! The paint application is getting looser, and the color a bit more impulsive,

while still preserving  the quality of light I want and the sense of a deep space. I am very happy with sky, particularly with the range of color from the violet darks to the slighty warm whites.

This is such a departure from spending weeks on a canvas! I am also committed to continuing with ordinary bits of Florida urban landscapes.
