A large studio piece from photos made at E.G. Simmons Park in Ruskin Florida. I visit this place almost daily with my dog, and it has been used in many paintings. It’s part of my polarized view of Florida; as I work both from both pristine natural sites and sites within our built environment. I’ve done a great deal of painting involving water over the years; the movement, transparency, reflection and color are an endless source of ideas for painting.
